GAME ART : FAQ

Q) How much does it cost?

A) It depends. On the scope of work, quality demanded, style needed and many other variables. It would be best if you contacted us with details such as game description/design, art assets needed, deadlines, and we will give you an estimate. We are flexible, depending on the artist and the art style needed.

Q) How many people will be assigned on my project?

A) Again, it depends. In the ideal case and with good budget, we can assign up to 3 artists who are used to work together(2 background/UI and 1 character artist). For smaller projects we can assign 1 person capable of doing characters and all other art included, but of course, it will take a bit longer to finish.

Q) Are you doing corrections/redos for free? I've had an artist who wasn't happy to redo low quality work and wanted to charge me.

A) We are aware of the iterative process of game developmenet. We often returned to the former levels/game rooms several times after we finished them. The requests to redo must be reasonable, and, the budget sufficient. In that case we won't charge any redos.

Q) Can you do anything else than game art?

A) We are open to possibilities, just contact us with details.

Q) Do I have to pay you something in advance?

A) In general, yes. We can make an exception in case you are a company with proven track record. The reason for this is to not end up doing free work in case the other side unexpectedly backs off without the will to pay for the work already done. Before you pay anything though, we will be happy to do a free art sample for your particular project(after we evaluate it).
